- Korea Media Strategy: Lead and execute comprehensive external communication strategies to pitch FuriosaAI’s vision, major milestones (funding, product launches, partnerships), and offerings to the Korean market.
- Media Network Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for local media relations. Actively build, maintain, and leverage deep relationships with key journalists, reporters, and tech influencers in the Korean AI, IT, and semiconductor industries.
- PR Execution: Draft high-impact Korean press releases, arrange executive interviews, pitch exclusive feature stories, and organize local media events.
- Crisis Management: Handle crisis communications effectively and swiftly in the local market, providing clear, timely, and strategic messaging to protect the company's brand.
- Global Alignment: Collaborate seamlessly with the US PR team for a consistent message delivery and unified corporate narrative, advising global PR strategy of Korea’s market sentiment on FuriosaAI.
- Product Launch Support: Create and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the Product launch tailored to the targeted audience. Develop hypothetical/real-world case studies to demonstrate product value clearly.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product leadership in Korea to extract deep technical insights and transform them into accessible, engaging thought leadership pieces.
- Digital Presence: Manage localized messaging across social media platforms and newsletters to boost domestic brand awareness and tech recruiting (employer branding).
- Internal Communications: Design and execute internal communication initiatives (e.g., all-hands meetings, internal newsletters, leadership updates) to ensure all employees are fully aligned with the company’s vision, major PR wins, and external narratives. Foster a transparent and engaged corporate culture that bridges the Seoul office and global teams.
- Data Analytics: Assess the impact of FuriosaAI’s PR efforts in the Korean AI compute space, analyzing FuriosaAI’s brand positioning and competitive standing within the AI compute space.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in PR, corporate communications, or tech journalism in Korea (Experience in the AI, hardware, or semiconductor domain is a strong plus).
- Bilingual Proficiency: Native-level Korean for high-quality storytelling and media pitching, and strong business-level English to collaborate effectively with the US team and global stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a rare ability to articulate highly complex technical ideas in a clear, concise, and captivating manner.
- Strong proactivity, "startup DNA," and project management skills; ability to embrace ambiguity, take extreme ownership, and consistently deliver strong results without heavy top-down guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders, from deep-tech engineers to top-tier media professionals.
